Unfortunately, many of us are not born with an easy-going temperament. Instead, we must build self-control through trials and tests. We can count it all joy for these struggles. They teach us great truths. Others will observe our success and benefit. The person who overcomes has a life message of victory. We will gain insights to offer others who have similar struggles, and God will receive glory through our victories.

YOU CAN CHOOSE TO ACT RIGHT EVEN WHEN OTHERS ACT WRONG
Too many times we allow ourselves to be caught up in somone else's bad behavior or bad attitude. Wisdom teaches us to guard our hearts and our minds from influences that can cause us to do something we will regret later. Remember, you have the personal power to choose to do right when others are doing wrong. You can make the right choice. Your right decision may help others to change their wrong decision. Prov. 4:23 Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life.
ARE YOU BELIEVING A LIE?
A lie is as strong as the truth if you believe it. We are often held captive by negative words and experiences from our past. Insecurity, unproductive habits, social difficulties, and other negative strongholds often have a false belief at its root. Ask God to reveal the "lies" that hold you back. Denounce the lies and let the "TRUTH" set you free. Prov. 30:8 Remove far from me vanity and lies...
GUARD MY TONGUE, O LORD!
It is the glory of God to conceal a matter. Pr..25:2 Gossip is fun! If it wasn’t, it would not be so hard to stop. God is pleased when we choose to conceal or protect our brother’s weaknesses from exposure rather than to make that difficulty a point of conversation. Revealing details of an offense is the desire of the flesh, but God’s desire is to protect and restore. May God put a guard over our tongue as we pray for those who struggle or fall!
SUCCESS CAN LEAD YOU TO FAILURE!
Your greatest success can be your greatest stumbling block for the future. Rewards and praise can bring over-confidence and self-sufficiency. Let the Spirit of God within you be the creative force behind your success. Your response to success determines future blessings. Give God the glory in all things!
Clear Offenses--An offended brother is more unyielding than a fortified city, and disputes are like the barred gates of a citadel. Pr 18:19. Someone who is offended will not only refuse to follow me to the cross, but will build “bars” around his heart and not allow any of God’s truth that I proclaim to penetrate his heart. If I offend someone, I have become a stumbling block to his growth in Christ. Humble yourself before God and make things right!

FACE YOUR SHORTCOMINGS!
When you are wrong, say so. If you do not know something, admit it. When you forget something, accept responsibility. Should you respond unkindly, apologize. Admit it if you are irresponsible and choose to become responsible again. Confessing your faults sets you free to become someone better than you were before (John 8:32) .

MAKE ME A SERVANT!
Be ambitious to be nothing! At least nothing except what God designed you to be. Jesus is our example of service. Phil. 2:3-8 tells us that Jesus did not try to be equal with God, but made himself to be nothing and became a servant to man. He submitted even to death on the cross. Look for ways to serve your co-workers and family members. Jesus washed his disciples feet. He was a servant. Ask God to make you a servant too.
